Whenever I walk away from time with this family, I feel like I have learned something.  I love how silly and loving and relaxed they are with their two boys…soon to be three.  There’s something really special about photographing a family on the precipice of a new child.  As Carolyn said, things are so great now, so it feels bittersweet knowing things are about to change.  So here is this very special moment in this season of their family.  It won’t be long until it feels surreal to see this family without the little one who is about to arrive.  These kids are really blessed to have Caroline and Ben for parents.  Here is a peek into a little “chair time” with mom reading books, a little baseball with dad.  and here is a peek into the past…George at 6 months.

I love this family.  Brandon and Nicole are two talented artists, and wonderful loving parents.  It’s always a blast for me to photograph them because the 4 of them are such good material.

You can see their documentary film work here.

The Graffs are this brilliant couple who made two well-behaved, full-of-life kids, which I have met and photographed before, and then somewhere in the mix of adding a third to my own family, a few years went by and now this lovely family is a family of five.  I met little Bennett in his earliest of days when his life consisted of nursing and sleeping, nursing and sleeping.  Repeat.  But it is not a sleepy household.  Buzzing around him are his older siblings, playing trains and riding scooters, and sneaking in peeks at him, and everyone is sneaking in snuggles from mama.  It is so tender and also hilarious to watch this dynamic unfold. (one I know so well!).  Enjoy.
