Without looking at any of their wedding photos, I can still remember moments- lots of them from the day of Molly and Taylor’s wedding 4 years ago.  I love these two.  I remember when they first came in to meet with me about their wedding, Molly could not get over the baby photos hanging in the studio.  She has been ready to experience baby cuteness for years and now she has her own beautiful son, Henry.  Henry is one lucky boy to have been born into the care of these two wonderful people.

I have known Rachel through a mutual friend for years, but I just recently got to meet her husband Travis and their adorable little personality-loaded son, Ben.  These two are laid back first-time parents.  I loved how Rachel let Ben chew on a plastic hanger because it hit the spot for him with his teething gums.  I loved seeing the affection between Travis and Ben.  When Travis was near, Ben would rest his hands on daddy’s feet, like it was reassurance that he was right there.  And so many times when I was looking at Rachel holding her son, I saw a classic beautiful image of motherhood.  The most lovely woman, always able to  give her son just what he needed.  Here are a few favorites…

Abbie and Justin are one of those dear couples that I got to know a handful a years ago when I photographed their wedding.  As I photographed them with their 9 month old Mallory this month, I couldn’t help but remember their faces and emotions when I photographed their gender reveal party, and they opened a big box to reveal a bunch of pink balloons.  They had no idea at that time how much they would love this little girl.  Then I got to meet Mallory in her first weeks of life, and along with the joy of this new baby, Abbie shared honestly with me the hardships of all that goes into having a brand new baby.  And recently I got to share with them a whole new beautiful stage.  The stage when those fuzzy newborn days are past, and Mallory has clearly established her strong and hilarious presence in this family.  It is so fulfilling to be such an intimate observer in the life of a couple, and a family.  Love you guys.  Here are some favorites.
