My friend and former assistant Erin was blessed with the surprise of her son Nolan almost two years ago.  I think that Nolan is the luckiest boy in the world to grow up with a mother that is as grace-filled, creative, smart, strong, and stunningly beautiful as Erin.  Since Erin is a photographer too, I knew that the importance of this little shoot was to capture her with Nolan more than just the incredible cuteness of this boy.  I loved watching my friend with her son.  Here are some favorites.

Looking back through Cassie and Tyler’s wedding day, the word that keeps coming to mind is FUN.  There was a lot of hilarity happening all day, perfectly balanced by the most sincere and intimate ceremony.  They say people start to look more like each other the longer they are together.  Cassie and Tyler’s expressions already match.  I saw it happen over and over all day long.  Another thing that stuck with me was how these two completely made the day what they wanted it to be.  They didn’t seem to succumb to the pressure of the “should do”, as many people do when planning a wedding.  This was most evident at the cocktail hour.  Cassie and Tyler had made these really fun yard games for people to play at the rooftop cocktail party.  When cocktail hour was over and all of the guests headed down to the ballroom, they felt like staying to play more yard games.  So they did.  It was their party and they enjoyed it exactly how they wanted to.  I found that so refreshing.

You guys have been the most wonderful to work with, you have always given me complete freedom and it has been so fun to photograph you.  I have loved getting to know you and see a couple as crazy for each other as you two are.  Here’s a first peek!
